A new gpGPU (general purpose Graphics Processing Unit) computing resource is now in production as part of the Georgia Advanced Computing Resource Center's z-cluster.

In addition to the individual NVIDIA Tesla S1070 (960 core) and C2075 (448 core) cards that were already available, the following NVIDIA GPU resources have been added:

  • nine Tesla M2070 Fermi cards (448 cores/card)
  • thirty-two Tesla K20X Kepler cards (2688 cores/card)
